Cafe Breton

Breakfast habit!

The most important meal after all, so my boyf and I have been hunting food again and this time the search for the Ultimate breakfast meal.

Every breakfast that we shared together, it’s been always eating in the nearest area, but for a change we decided to eat breakfast somewhere.

And yes finally, we tracked down Cafe Breton.

My Pick – Sausage Platter with Toast

His Pick – Hearty Breakfast Meal

as much as we wanted to have a DIY Crepe but we’re still full.

Verdict: Everything is so good.

The Search for the Ultimate Burger

My boyfriend and I were actually a pizza lover, but for some reasons I didn’t know why we ended up hunting for the Ultimate Burgergererr!

It all started when we’re about to see each other celebrating our monthsary. And finally decided to ditch pizza over burger.

  • Burger Bar (Closed -replaced by 8cuts Burger)

It is our first DIY Burger, we ordered 2 DIY Burgers, Onion Rings (Best Seller), Fries, Watermelon Margarita, Lemonade and Molten Chocolate Bottom (dessert) by the way our bill also includes a service charge.

  • Teddy’s Bigger Burger

What can I say looking for a Big and Juicy Burger, Teddy’s burger is definitely the right place for you guys. We ordered their classic burger and cheese burger (combo with fries) and Caesar salad. Verdict: super juicy, yummy and we couldn’t finish to eat the whole burger.

  • 8 Cuts Burger

When we got here they have the same concept like Burger Bar. Another DIY Burger for us, 8cuts burger offers more choices when it comes buns and patties (as far as my memory is concern)

Verdict: We still love Burger Bar

  • Bubba Gump

Bubba Gump was one of our favourite place, the ambiance + food just jive together. Though we tried their veggies burger since my boyf and I are on a strict diet.

Verdict: it becomes our favourite veggie burger, the slice of avocado just give balance.

  • Organic Burger at Legaspi Market

Less fat, Less salt it’s definitely a must try burger, they make sure that the cow eats only grass and voila organic burger!

Wee Nam Kee

This is my second time to visit this place, located at Ayala triangle, Wee Nam Kee.

The first time I got here is last December 2014 when I had this mini reunion with my former colleagues (5th job or my present job).

We are actually looking for a resto that served rice since it’s Friday most of the resto that time are fully-booked. Until we finally bumped at Wee Nam Kee.

We ordered their signature dishes roasted and hainanese chicken, pancit and their Hainanese chicken rice.We don’t wait that too long for our orders to be served

And the finale, we head watching the Ayala lights Show which we enjoyed a lot.

Anyway my second visit in this place also happened on the same year and the same month. I recommend this resto to my boyfriend and my sister.

So I ordered one roasted chicken, Hainanese chicken rice and drinks (mango, kiwi and chocolate). Though we’re a little hungry however the service in this place are so slow. Maybe it’s because of the holiday season.

Anyway Hainanese chicken rice is a well recommended food in here (for me)

1. ambiance – good

2. food – The kiwi juice taste like a soda which I didn’t enjoy

3. price – a little pricey

4. service – boo! though maybe it’s holiday season

PS. Will Update this post

Makati FoodTrip

Throwback Post: Makati FoodTrip

To begin it’s becoming a hobby that for every pay day my colleagues and I will eat together. At first we decided to eat at Sbarro then eventually decided to grab some beers, while walking outside Glorietta we’re stunned with a huge tent that caught our attention. I don’t know how does everyone called it but more or less they are the  Makati version of Banchetto.

Upon heading to the Banchetto, most of my colleagues haven’t experienced this so we decided to give it try and started to look around. Since we’re full, we just bought some foods we can eat at home.

The best part about this place there are a lot food choices to choose from, aside from the convenience near to mall, you can still feel the cold air outside maybe it’s because of BER Months.

At the end of our trip we bought some beers and drink it also in this place.

My Directory

The owner of this blog is currently inspired to do more! Yes I am inspired to do more and I know I can do something while I’m young, and travel is one of my bucket list.

For quite sometime I’ll always says that I will do this, though back then I’m just an average earner and my parents rarely took me on a trip as a kid.

And I think now is the best time to accomplish a trip there will be no more excuses this time.

There was a quote that changes my mind “Travel while you’re young and able. Don’t worry about the money, just make it work. ” and also there was a certain writer/news anchor I admire then she said that if you want something you have to earn and save for it.

I know that this one would bring me into an endless path and I’m not closing my door.

Buffalo’s Wings N’Things

This past few days, I’ve been thinking to go back again eating at my favourite diner, however it’s holy week and I should commemorate on Jesus’ suffering. Anyway I just wanted to share one of my favourite diner.

 Buffalo’s Wings N’Things

I’ve been a huge fan of Diner Meals + ambiance, though I always ended up eating with a burger shop. But this buffalo’s wings n things caught my attention.

They are selling chickens + beers which seems to be a perfect combo!

Little Tokyo

Throwback Post: Little Tokyo.

Back in 2013, after payday me and my colleagues decided to hangout together.

Under the recommendation of some of our workmates who have been in this place, we decided to come along and joined them with their Japanese Cuisine Hunt.

When we first got here at Little Tokyo, I fell in love the way it was constructed though I haven’t went to Japan. But it seems that this place is giving you a Japanese ambiance.

It’s been almost two years since I went at Little Tokyo but for starters you can see a lot of good reviews from this place.

According to the blog that I read earlier it is a restaurant inside a compound and they are pricey which I totally agreed when I first got here.

Anyway let’s take a look with the menus:

So we ordered two kinds of sake hot and cold, this was my very first time to drink a Japanese wine.

I remember I have a work-mate who is a pure Chinese and raised here in the PHL. She told us that hot sake taste much better than the cold one because you can feel the pure rice wine (maybe some sort of a puree?)

Verdict: the taste last in my mouth for about a week or maybe I just liked how’d it taste.

I am not really a huge fan of noodle thing, but majority wants a Ramen so we had two kinds of Ramen Spicy and Non-Spicy.

Verdict: Not that Bad I might get one bowl for this!

If there is one Japanese cuisine that I am huge fan of eating most probably it is the maki thing especially the one with a mango fillings inside.

But since I haven’t seen any maki with mango fillings in the inside, this one is not bad as I thought. We also ordered hotpot unfortunately we haven’t take a picture of it.

In summary hotpot and sake turned out to be my fave dish.
